LIP INK Trial Vial Color Cognac Shine Moisturizer and Off Tear Packet

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Have used this for 11 years and will never go back to lipstick
This is simply the best lip color system out there if used properly. If you are like my friend and sister who just causually used it and didn’t follow the very easy instructions…you’ll think it is no big deal and a waste of money.

Years later they both tried it again the “right way” and they are now hooked on it. If you keep using it, your lips will not chap like they do with other lipsticks because they are constantly being exfoliated.

It is not complicated and it does stay on…I particually like the Hyper shine (not sold on Amazon) because I think it keeps the color on even longer than the original shine.

2 Stars Nothing special
This product does not stay on all day; it is almost gone by lunchtime. I have used similar “drugstore” long-lasting lipsticks such as Maybelline, Revlon and L’Oreal, and they stay on just as well, if not a little better. If you want the “all-day” effect, try one of those, rather than Lip Ink, which is more complicated to use and definitely more expensive. The company gives you a refund only if you return the product UNOPENED, so once you try it you’re basically stuck with it.

5 Stars Best product ever…EVER
I have fallen so in love with this product. I first tried the trial kit, and I was so impressed that I ordered the lipstick in lava red. I put it on in the morning and I swear it’s there all day long! I am the kind of person who has to have lipstick on all the time…I’m telling you, this is the best, longest-lasting lipstick there is. And it’s not allowing terrible chemicals to seep into your lips all day. I was always worried that I would get cancer or something from all the chemicals in other commercial lipsticks…well not anymore. Lip ink is expensive, but I think it’s totally worth it.

1 Star beware-this burns!

This product burned my lips from the first second that I applied it. My skin is not particularly sensitive, but it has taken months for my lips to recover from the chemical burn, and I am beginning to doubt they willl ever be the same. I strongly suggest not using this product. There are better and less damaging lip stains out there!

5 Stars Love It
OK – I had ordered a kit from Lip Ink.

Then I stumbled across the reviews here and saw the one where the customer said it burned. So, I was a little concerned as I have sensitive lips.

But the kit arrived and I tried it with some trepidation.

But, no burning! Just a very slight tingle (no more than when I exfoliate my face). The lip color stayed on all day. I just adore this product and have ordered more colors. I also love the fact that you can create your own custom color by doing different layers.

I am completely sold on this product.

Rights in the Balance Free Press Fair Trial and Nebraska Press Association v Stuart Plains Histories

On a horrific night in October 1975, Erwin Simants brutally murdered six members of the Henry Kellie family in tiny Sutherland, Nebraska. Massive media attention to the grisly story soon spawned a historic collision between two of the most cherished American constitutional protections the First Amendment’s guarantee of a free press and the Sixth Amendment’s guarantee of a criminal defendant’s right to a fair trial before an impartial jury.

Rights in the Balance is the story of the complex legal battles set in motion that tragic night on the western Nebraska plains. In juxtaposition to the criminal prosecution of Erwin Simants, Mark Scherer traces the Nebraska Press Association’s battle to overturn a gag order imposed on the media by state court judges. Prohibited from publishing certain details about the crimes and the Simants prosecution, the association set its own arduous legal course that would lead ultimately to the U.S. Supreme Court and the landmark ruling issued in Nebraska Press Association v. Stuart. The decision, one of the most closely followed in American constitutional history, remains one of the high court’s most significant statements and controlling precedents on the troublesome and recurring conflict between the rights of free press and fair trial.

Balancing the nuances of myriad legal considerations against the very human dimensions of both the constitutional litigations and the Simants prosecution, Scherer offers up a narrative accessible not only to communications and legal specialists and scholars but also the interested general public.
